What is Conference Joy?

Technology allows us to connect with more people than ever before. But these digital connections, while helpful, can never replace “in real-life” experiences. Despite social media and other opportunities for connecting online, there’s still great value in face-to-face interactions.

Conferences are about people.

Online connections aren’t bad, but they’re easy; gathering groups of people together for an in person experience can get a bit more complicated.

Why do you create conferences? There’s just something different and joyful about being with people and sharing life together in a common space. But in order to get to that joy you have to get through the details. That’s where Conference Joy comes in.

The Story

Every year, we were part of a conference that gathered a large group of people. There were large families, small families, singles, couples… you name it, they were there! And every year some poor soul with the heart of a warrior was challenged with the same Herculean tasks: get everyone’s passport information, get everyone’s flight information, get everyone’s room requirements, get everyone’s dietary sensitivities. And that wasn’t even all of it.

This warrior had to gather changing information, send it all out. Edit that and resend it all out. They had to collect payment and communicate with the resort staff. They had to delegate to others but make sure everyone had all the right information. And then, maybe, at the end, ask everyone for feedback for the next year.

We asked ourselves if there was a better way than just email, Excel spreadsheets, coffee, and frustration. And that’s how Conference Joy was born.

People Matter

Learning, laughing, crying. All these things are better together because, in the end, it’s people that matter. Email, schedules, presentations, breakout groups, registration fees matter too. Especially registration fees. But connecting in real-life with real people matters the most.

You love real life connections but are overwhelmed by what it takes to bring people together. Conference Joy is for you.

We know what it’s like to be in this position. You work so hard on the details that you miss out on actually enjoying the conference.

Conference Joy can do the heavy-lifting on all of your conference management details so you can focus on the things that matter more — like creating meaningful content, developing a transformational experience for your guests, and spending time with the people you serve.

We are just as passionate about creating meaningful experiences for your guests as you are.

Let Conference Joy help you experience the joy of bringing people together.
